Every day around 400,000 children in Switzerland drive to school by scooter. Safety is our top priority. Thus, the correct handling of the vehicle-like devices wants to be learned. René Lauper, president and project leader of the association "New Mobility Safety Projects" has been conducting safety courses for scooters and kickboards for 11 years. At the Micro Scooter Kids Days, in addition to the right braking technology the understanding and awareness of dangers and rules in dealing with the new forms of mobility will be sharpened. The courses are extremely popular. From mid-March to mid-October, around 6,000 children attend each year.
