Downhill scooting

The frequent braking generally required when scooting down long hills puts tremendous strain on the foot brake, resulting in faster wear on the back wheel. To keep wear and tear to a minimum, we recommend that customers who regularly ride long distances with big gradients choose a scooter with wide wheels. These wheels are somewhat harder and the braking pressure is distributed over a broader surface, reducing overall intensity.
